TELFAR

Telfar is the eponymous fashion label of Telfar Clemens that continues to challenge and disrupt the conventions of the fashion industry through its unisex designs, unique presentations and artistic instructional films. Clemens was the 2017 winner of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund award having successfully conveyed his inclusive design language and ongoing narrative that fashion is for everyone and is genderless, “It’s not for you, it’s for everyone.” Clemens re-imagines the ordinary, through confronting the principles of comfortable sportswear and ‘simplexity’ and deconstructing and reconstructing garments, whilst also elevating the details, transforming belt loops and tags into unexpected pockets, creating unique and sought-after pieces.
